Project Detail:
Deconstruction and complete demolition of a 14-story reinforced concrete dormitory building located on an urban university campus. Facility was demolished on a floor-by-floor basis as to maintain the underlying active utility basement scheduled to remain. Project included extensive re-routing of utilities, construction of new access areaway for utility maintenance, and installation of new structural slab and roofing over the existing basement to provide protection for the remaining utilities. Site restoration work included new landscaping, site lighting, and pedestrian walkways installed upon completion of demolition activities.
