University of KY- Haggin Hall and K-Lair Demolition

Project Detail:
Mass demolition and removal of a 115,000 SF four (4) story steel, concrete and masonry frame dormitory located on the main campus of the University of Kentucky. Demolition work was performed in close proximity to new dormitories under construction, and expedited to allow prompt redevelopment of the site with follow-up dormitory construction. Of note, O’Rourke Wrecking Company salvaged numerous items from the demolition of Haggin Hall for return to the University, as well as managed reconstruction of the partially demolished K-Lair Grill.
